Did you know that certain conditions and injuries are best treated while you are in the water?

Aquatic therapy takes advantage of water buoyancy support providing a low-impact, low-stress environment. Our warm water pools foster increased blood flow and relax muscles to allow our licensed therapists to tailor an individualized program to assist with:

  • Increased flexibility and joint mobility
  • Facilitating proper body mechanics
  • Strengthening muscles
  • Improved balance and agility
  • Reduction in joint swelling and pain

Our therapeutic pools are ideal for patients who are not fully weight-bearing and a well-designed rehab program can help train their cardiovascular system and increase their range of motion. The ultimate goal of aquatic therapy is to progress all patients toward a more functional land-based program.

What if I cannot swim?

The water levels of our therapeutic pools are maintained at 4’5″ inches. Our licensed therapists are on hand to provide individualized prescribed aquatic exercises with you to assist in achieving your functional goals.

Conditions commonly treated with Aquatic Therapy:
