Ken graduated with a Physical Therapy degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1999. Since that time he has furthered his clinical skills and education. He has been credentialed by the McKenzie Institute in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine (Cert. MDT), became certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) by the Ola Grimsby Institute, and is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Beyond this he has taken numerous other continuing education courses gaining knowledge and experience in both Strain Counterstrain, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Differential Diagnosis.
Ken’s treatment approach focusing on working together with each individual patient to develop a treatment approach that will best suite their life style and reach their functional goals. “I find that it is important that the patient is an active member of the rehab team in order to have the greatest success. Treatment tends to consist of a good mixture of manual therapy, patient education, and exercise. Exercises are generally based upon Ola Grimsby’s “Scientific Therapeutic Exercise Progressions”. I thoroughly enjoying being able to help individuals get back to their fullest activity level without being restricted from their condition.”
Outside of work he enjoys enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking, running, downhill skiing, and playing hockey.
