By conducting your care in our 98 degree pools, aquatic therapy takes advantage of water buoyancy support providing a low-impact, low-stress environment. This specialized therapy fosters increased blood flow and relaxes muscles to allow our licensed therapists to tailor an individualized program to assist with:

  • Increasing flexibility and joint mobility
  • Facilitate proper body mechanics
  • Strengthen muscles
  • Improve balance and agility
  • Reduce joint swelling and pain.

Our therapeutic pools also provide the opportunity for our patients who cannot fully weight bear to train their cardiovascular system and increase their range of motion. The ultimate goal of aquatic therapy is to progress all our patients toward a more functional land-based program.

What if I cannot swim?

The water levels of our therapeutic pools are maintained at 4'5" inches. Our licensed therapists are on hand to provide individualized prescribed aquatic exercises with you to assist in achieving your functional goals.
